Whitmore Lanes

These are some of the pictures that we took to 'commemorate' the remodeling of the center

During the first few days we basically took out the 'old' stuff

Then we had our 'destruction' phase - removing the old

               Counter             Foul lights       Backs/returns         Lockers

Now we start some of the critical rebuilding - getting rid of the step up/down to get on/off the lanes by filling in the channel

       

Here we are pouring cement and making it level and easier to access the lanes

                

This series of pictures show the preparation of the lanes -

• Shimming the lane bed to make it level

• Stripping, leveling and planing the lanes

• Ripping out, replacing and leveling the pin decks

• Repositioning the ball lifts further toward the pins

• Now we are almost ready to install the new lanes

     

Showing the positioning of the underlayment for the new ball returns and new gutter caps and automatic bumpers

      

Filling in the side walkways and remodeling the bowling counter
